I'm Sick of This

This is getting to be quite a pain in the arse. Liberals are up in arms over what they allege is Alito's opposition of "a woman's constitutional right to reproductive freedom". Well frankly, who gives a damn!?

Honestly, the liberals are way off the mark with this one. Nobody should be concerned right now with Samuel Alito's views on abortion. As a good judge, his personal views play no role in his decisions on the bench. However, his views on Roe v. Wade are what should be examined. The argument over whether or not the case was ruled correctly is what's important, not the argument over the substance of the case.

Nowhere in the Constitution there anything resembling a woman's "right to reproductive freedom". Explain to me the logic that spawned that belief. Women aren't even given the right to vote until passage of the 19th Amendment, so how in God's name can the left derive a supposed "right to reproductive freedom"? Therefore, as there is no right guaranteed by the Constitution, under the Tenth Amendment it becomes a states' rights issue. If they want a constitutional right, they have to go through the amendment process like everyone else.

When Samuel Alito is confirmed as the next Justice of the Supreme Court, I pray that the court waste no time in taking the opportunity to overturn Roe v. Wade. The "right to reproductive freedom" is a farcical creation of the courts. It's about time that the High Court atone for its grave error and fix this problem once and for all.
