In Case You Didn't Know About the Energy Crisis

The Americans for Prosperity blog has a nice post today on yet another case of worthless government spending. It seems the powers that be have decided to dole out $1.2 million for an ad campaign featuring "The Energy Hog." Thanks to this strange character, now we will all know to conserve energy because of the crisis we are in the midst of. I don't know about you, but I think the record natural gas prices and sky-high gas prices were a pretty big hint that there's an energy crisis. Nonetheless, I'm sure there was very good reason to spend another mil of the taxpayer's dollars to inform those who may not have left the house in a few months that there indeed is a crisis. Thanks so much!
